The Dinner Bell was established in 2008 by a Professional Chef and a Registered Dietitian.

Chef Bell has over 20 years of culinary experience. His experience includes restaurant owner, culinary arts instructor and currently the executive chef and owner of The Dinner Bell. Chef Bell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Illinois State University. Chef Bell is certified in food safety and sanitation and certified to teach food safety and sanitation.

Jessica is a registered dietitian through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She earned a Master of Science degree from Illinois State University. She has over 8 years of clinical dietetics experience working with patients with diabetes, heart disease, and other nutrition related conditions. She is currently employed as a Clinical Assistant Professor and is the dietitian for The Dinner Bell.

In the beginning, The Dinner Bell offered culinary and nutrition classes to the public. The Dinner Bell also participated in cooking demonstrations at local farmer’s markets. Over the past 2 years, The Dinner Bell has expanded to providing caterings for all types of events. In the summer of 2013, The Dinner Bell traveled to fairs and festivals to provide great food to the people of the Midwest. In 2014, The Dinner Bell  introduced their mobile commissary to the community to provide a variety of menu items that are fast and delicious to our customers.
